Our loving nine-year-old great-granddaughter, Amira, has been sick with a severe ear infection with complications for two weeks.
On Monday, April 20, her fever spiked and she was dizzy. She couldn’t walk so we made another trip to Dr. Trager’s office. He was concerned because he couldn’t get pulse to register. He ran lab work and told Amira’s mom, Elizabeth, he would call with results.
An hour later, this awesome doctor showed up at their house to give them results. The terrible news is that Amira has Leukemia and he advised them to head to Children’s Hospital immediately.
The loving compassion of this great man shows exactly how blessed this country is with their health care workers. In spite of all the madness going on in this world, he chose kindness, love and compassion for a little girl and her mom.
God’s blessings on Dr. Trager and the Sheboygan Pediatric Clinic. This is one simple little act of kindness that says it all.
