One of my best friends is a new history teacher at Oconomowoc High School. Due to the current situation, she’s had to transition to online teaching. Over the past few months, she has gone above and beyond, creating engaging online lesson plans that make students look forward to her class. As many of her students prepare for AP exams, she has taken extra initiative to get them prepped to pass. Today, she was surprised with a well-deserved “Thank You” sign outside of her Milwaukee apartment. Thank you to all the teachers and parents working through this bizarre time.
