Lemonade with Former Green Bay Packer Marwin Evans

Less than 24 hours ago, we received the news that schools were canceled for the remainder of the year. Talk about a sour lemon!

But lemons can produce lemonade when the essential ingredients are added.

Former Green Bay Packer Marwin Evans came and sipped some lemonade with YMOM Young Men On A Mission via Zoom conference call this afternoon. What an honor and privilege it was to have him give the gift of time to our young men!

Here are some takeaways from what Marwin Evans poured into our young men:

• Take school serious and focus. YMOM Young Men On A Mission Inc. uses a concept called: “REAL Discipline.” We often say “Keep It Real”; for example, R.E.A.L. means Respect, Endurance, Accountability and Love.
• RESPECT the process—there are no short cuts in whatever you want to do in life.
• ENDURE and keep pushing
• Be ACCOUNTABLE for your actions
• Always LOVE what you do.
